Lisa’s willingness to stop what she is doing and assist her coworkers is invaluable! She is knowledgeable in many areas and shares her knowledge freely. She tackles every task assigned to her with professionalism. She is always kind and understanding with patients who call about their bills.
To many of you, Lisa may be an unknown, as she is never in the limelight; however, she is diligently working behind the scenes to make sure that our claims are submitted correctly, timely and ensuring payment. While, this may sound like a non-interactive role, Lisa spends a great deal of time communicating with and coaching our practice staff to get necessary information, fielding patient’s questions about their bills, and of course, communicating with the claims department at the insurance companies, which requires finesse!
In all of her interactions, she exhibits our care values. She is compassionate and has a “can do” attitude. She is respectful, kind and has empathy for others. She has a strong work ethic, and “acts like an owner”, chasing those dollars as if they are her own! She is always professional in her communication, supports her coworkers, and she goes the extra mile, adjusting her approach depending on the situation. Most importantly, she treats everyone she encounters as a customer and gives them her full attention, recognizing their importance. We are lucky to have her on our team!
