New Safety Protocol

  • All bags/belongings entering the Emergency Department will be searched.  It is suggested that patients only bring necessary items (e.g. Keys, ID, Phones)
  • All Patients entering the Emergency Departments will be Screened via a security wand
  • Patients entering the ED Treatment area will be provided a gown
  • Visitation Update - One visitor per patient (children may have both parents).  Visitors will be subject to wanding and are asked not to bring any belongings into the ED with them.  If they choose to bring in bags they will be subject to a search.
  • At this time, all protocols are not currently in effect at Athol Hospital. Full implementation is planned to begin in the coming days.

Stanley Cyr - June 2019

Stan Cyr

Stanley works in the Heywood Lab Department. Here is just a little of what people have to say about him!

Stan was surprised by the President’s Advisory Council, Senior Team, Managers, Directors and members of her department on Tuesday, June 25th.

His exceptional service was recognized with a variety of Heywood gift items, cake, and even a premium reserved parking spot for the month!

A special thank you to Last Minute Gifts & Flowers for the monthly donation of a beautiful arrangement!

Stanley goes above and beyond for our Hospital Laboratory Department. He is always willing to cover shifts, even on short notice. Stanley travels out in any type of weather conditions to care for all our home and nursing home patients. His dedication to caring for patients is contagious and inspiring. He is known for his hard work ethic and without him our lab would not function the same.

Stan is now featured on the Service Star Wall near the Dining Room.

Congratulations, Stan!
