NQC3 Mission
Redesigning and improving behavioral health and substance use disorder service delivery in our rural region.
The project goal is to increase access to and utilization of treatment, recovery and prevention services for those affected by behavioral health conditions, including substance use and mental health needs across Athol Hospital’s service area.
The project has a continuum of interconnected strategies:
- Treatment - to provide geographically accessible and integrated medical and substance use disorder care and coordination, led by Athol Hospital and affiliates.
- Recovery - to offer community support for high-risk po;ulations and people living with mental health, and substance use addictions, led by GAAMHA.
- Prevention - to improve community mental well-being by addressing systemic and structural risk factors, led by Athol Area YMCA.
