Dr. Stahl is a highly experienced nurse leader with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from the UMass Graduate School of Nursing and a Master’s in Nursing Education. Before joining Heywood in 2011, she spent over a decade (1998–2011) at UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital. In her current executive role, she provides oversight for patient care services across the two-hospital system, managing over 700 employees. Her leadership is focused on driving quality, safety, and clinical excellence. In 2025, she was nationally recognized as a "CNO to Know" by Becker’s Hospital Review for her impact on nursing strategy and patient outcomes
