GARDNER, MASS - Nine National Guardsmen were welcomed to Heywood Hospital today to assist with staffing challenges in specific non-clinical roles. Seven guardsmen are designated for the Heywood Hospital Campus and two will support needs on the Athol Hospital Campus.
They join nine of their peers deployed to Heywood Hospital in late December, for a total of eighteen National Guardsmen and Women, who volunteered for deployment.
