Heywood Hospital is already getting into the holiday season as they finalize the preparations for their upcoming and highly popular annual Evergreen Fair.
The Evergreen Fair is a place for people in the community to get a start on their holiday shopping and decorating. Different greens available for purchase include wreaths, Christmas cactus, cyclamen and more. Visitors can also take advantage of the hospital gift shop's Evergreen Fair specials, the homemade craft table, and enjoy a treat from the bake sale.
To add more excitement to the event, there will be several different raffles held. Along with a 50/50 raffle, a theme basket raffle will have everything from a game night to a night on the town. The largest raffle of the event will be for a chance to win both a 43" 1080 LED Sceptre TV and a Bose Solo 5 TV Soundbar. The drawing for all raffles will happen at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 7th.
The proceeds from this year's event will go towards Heywood Healthcare's Handle With Care Program, a collaborative model working closely with law enforcement, emergency personnel, schools, and providers to help children whose lives have been affected by trauma.
The Evergreen Fair will be held on Friday, December 6th from 9:00 am -3:00 pm and on Saturday, December 7th from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in the Heywood Hospital Lobby and Pierce Board Room. Visitors are asked to park at the main entrance and follow the signs leading to the event.
