The Heywood Hospital Aid Association has pledged $75,000 to Heywood Hospital and Heywood Healthcare's 'Fulfilling Our Promise' Capital Campaign over the next three years. The Hospital Aid Association has already donated $30,000 toward that goal so far in 2016.
The 'Fulfilling Our Promise' Capital Campaign is a -multi-pronged fundraising initiative designed to ensure that Heywood Healthcare will be here to meet the healthcare needs of our community now and in the future. -This campaign focuses on three major capital projects, the construction of a new Emergency Department and outpatient Medical Office Building at Athol Hospital; the expansion and modernization of the Heywood Hospital Surgical Pavilion and the development of a new Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment Facility, the Quabbin Retreat on our recently-purchased 87-acre campus, in Petersham.
The donations are made possible thanks in part to the fundraising efforts of Hospital Aid including the Hospital Gift Shop, vendor sales and other events including the Annual Evergreen Fair.
