Internship Opportunities

Interns

The Heywood Healthcare Internship Program (HHIP) provides the opportunity to gain valuable experience to students whose career interests are in healthcare.

Internship opportunities in Cardiology, Physical Therapy, Nutrition, Women’s Health, Human Resources and more are all designed to encourage students to consider careers in science, medicine and public health.

Placement for clinical rotations, internships and other observation experiences must be secured by the student or school before starting the on boarding process. Additionally, we encourage students to visit our careers page for additional internship opportunities.

Students must be cleared by Human Resources and Employee Health before they’re able to start. Once placement has been confirmed by the department, the student should complete the Heywood Healthcare internship form and send it to Human Resources to begin the onboarding process.

Human Resources will be responsible for ensuring that the following requirements have been met:

  • Internship Form
