Robert Crosby, BS

Robert L. Crosby is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer ensuring the overall fiscal operations of all entities within the Heywood Healthcare network. In his role, Mr. Crosby has created strong business strategies and provided in-depth analyses and evolution of financial policies as the organization has grown. He has spearheaded the organization in finding avenues for fiscal success to expand its facilities and services throughout the region including the merger of Heywood Hospital and Athol Hospital and the affiliation of practices and facilities that are today part of the Heywood Healthcare family. He is also responsible for leading Human Resources and Recruiting as well as Physical Therapy Services for Heywood Healthcare.

Mr. Crosby has held key financial positions in hospitals across Massachusetts, most recently as Chief Financial Officer at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill, MA, before joining Heywood in 2010. Previously, he served as CFO for Marlborough Hospital, a senior auditor for a CPA firm, controller and fiscal operations director at a number of hospitals throughout the commonwealth.

Mr. Crosby holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Merrimack College and is an advanced member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He currently serves on the Massachusetts Hospital Association Standing Committee of Finance.
