Heywood Medical Group is a non-profit corporation whose mission is:
- To engage in the multi-specialty practice of medicine and to perform such medical and other ancillary services as are necessary to rendering such professional services.
- To provide medical and health care to individuals living and working in the Greater Gardner area.
- To participate in activities designed and carried on to promote and improve the general public health and the health of patients in the Greater Gardner area.
Heywood Medical Group consists of over 20 physicians specializing in Primary Care and Specialty Care.
Our primary care physicians focus on Pediatrics and Family Practice. Our specialty care physicians focus on the areas of Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology/Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Urology and General Surgery.
Heywood Medical group is here to serve individuals in need of health care and works in coordination with Heywood Hospital to provide high quality comprehensive health care to all those in need.
We accept most forms of insurance and are members of the Gateway Health Access Program. This program helps uninsured people access affordable healthcare by connecting people to existing healthcare programs such as Mass Health and providing reduced-fee care for those who do not qualify for existing programs. These reduced fees are payment in full and are not subsidized in any way.
