Helping Children Reach a Healthy Weight

Are you worried about your child's weight
or struggling with you own?
You are not alone!

First, talk to your health care provider to find out what is a healthy weight range for you and your children.

Second, be a good example. Kids usually do what you do, not what you say to do!

Get Moving! Physical activity improves your health even if you do not lose weight. Children and teens should be physically active for at least 1 hour per day.

Walk More.

Limit use of TV, video games and computer games to no more than 2 hours a day.
