Policy Regarding Release of  Patient Information to the Media

 

Heywood's policy is to contact patients or family members for permission before releasing information about patients.  During normal working hours, call the Office of Community Relations at (978) 630-6248.  After hours, please contact the Switchboard Operator at (978) 632-3420 and ask to speak with the Nursing Supervisor.
 

  

   

  

Valet Parking

Valet Parking at Heywood Hospital

 

 

The Valet Parking program at Heywood Hospital will continue after May 1, 2011, and will now have a charge of $3 per car, according to Interim President and CEO David Andersen, FACHE. 

 

“We are pleased to announce that the Valet Parking service, which has been so helpful to so many people, will be continuing, with a small charge to offset a portion of our expenses for the program,” he said.

 

Andersen noted that many letters and calls were received from patients, as a result of the announced elimination of the service. “Clearly, this service is very important to a number of people in the community and the valet attendants are doing an excellent job of assisting those who need them,” said Andersen.

 

The Valet Parking service at Heywood is managed by Valet Park of America.
