POSITION SUMMARY: Heywood Medical Group is currently seeking two midlevel providers for full time Family Practice.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Physician Assistant Requirements: Physician Assistant must be a graduate from a program approved by CAHEA (AMA’s Committee on Allied Health, Education and Accreditation), or its successor (effective January 1, 2001), the Accreditation Review Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current licensure to practice as a physician assistant issued by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine. Advanced Life Support required. Nurse Practitioner Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing, current Massachusetts license as a Nurse Practioner, minimum of 3 years ambulatory care experience preferred. Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills required.

Clinical(Non-Nursing)

Ultrasound Technologist	Per Diem	As Needed
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs ultrasound procedures as ordered by patient's physician and directed by Radiologist. Works cooperatively with other ultrasound technologists to coordinate exam schedule and work flow. Operates various computer systems to enter and check patient information and imaging data. Sand patient data over computer network to PACS system and off-site radiologist as necessary. Ensures accuracy of all data used and entered on computers. Assists radiologists and other physicians during interventional procedures. Maintains safe environment for patients. Follows pre-determined image criteria to assess images to determine that all images include all required measurements, volumes, heart rates and anatomical information. Requires rotation of on-call hours when applicable. Accurately enters orders and charging procedures into the Meditech computer system. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) registration or Registry eligible in Ultrasound Technology required. (ARDMS registration must be obtained within two years of hire.) Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or Radiology Technology. Previous experience performing ultrasound procedures is preferred or equivalent experience as determined by the Department Manager. Quality conscious; interpersonal skills; flexible in achieving multiple tasks; dependable; organized; independent judgment; high technical skills. Computer literate. CPR certified.
Pharmacist	16 Hours	1:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.	Every Weekend	Every Holiday
POSITION SUMMARY: Provide pharmaceutical care of distributive as well as clinical nature in accordance with legal requirements, professional standards and hospital policies. Provide drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Monitor all aspects of drug therapy including recommending dose adjustments, drug interactions and clinically rational therapy. Supervise pharmacy technicians and students. Make recommendations in accordance with hospital formulary. Sterile products preparation in compliance with USP 797 standards. Participate in drug use evaluations and other performance improvement activities. Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of controlled substances. Membership on various hospital committees and other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: BS or Pharm D degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy. Current Massachusetts license. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills, flexibility. Meditech experience helpful. Ability to lift 20 lbs.
