Clinical(Non-Nursing)

POSITION SUMMARY: The MT/MLT performs a wide variety of Lab procedures in all sections of the clinical Laboratory area. Work closely with other coworkers (on other shifts and other departments) to complete patient testing, quality control, correlation studies, and special projects. Has good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Responsible for quality assurance studies, competancy check lists and training new personnel. Communicates frequently with department manager about all aspects of the shift. Reviews patient and quality control reports/results for accuracy, timeliness and appropriateness. The MT/MLT on this shift often works alone performing patient testing and required tasks in all departments at once as opposed to staff who work other shifts with coverage in each of the individual departments. This means the staff person requires excellent multitasking and decision making skills, as well as the ability to exercise independent judgement as supervisory staff is not always immediately available.Is responsible for overall coordination of maintenance on main analyzers in the Chemistry department, performance of quality control in all Laboratory areas, batch testing, as well as stat, urgent and routine patient testing ordered on the shift. Must have excellent troubleshooting skills. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Baccalaureate degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or equivalant or Associate of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent. New graduates must have completed clinical training program through an approved school of Laboratory Science. Current certification or registration or proven eligibility. Prefer applicant to have atleast 2 years of general rotating technical experience.
Pharmacist	40 Hours	Days/Evenings	Every 4th	Every 4th
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of drug distribution including procurement, ordering, distribution, and monitoring in accordance with all State and Federal laws and JCAHO standards. Sterile products preparation in compliance with USP 797. Supervises workflow of pharmacy technicians. Provides drug information and other cognitive services to licensed practitioners, healthcare providers and patients. Participates in drug use evaluations, performance improvement activities, and committee meetings as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: BS or Pharm D degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy. Current Massachusetts license. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills, flexibility. Meditech experience helpful. Ability to lift 20 lbs.

CT Technologist	8 Hours	Days	Every Saturday
POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinates the daily schedule, operates the computer scheduling of exams, film accuracy and enters patient information into the Meditech computer system. Enters all emergency scans performed after hours, on the Vitria Work Station Maintains safe environment for patients. Requires rotation of ON Call hours when applicable. Must be CPR certified. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: ARRT R and MDPH Radiology License Required. ARRT CT Preferred-Required within 2 years from date of hire. Graduate from An accredited school of Radiology Technology, CT Scan Technology and or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year previous experience performing Head, Neck, Abdomen, Spine, Upper/Lower Extremities, Chest and Pelvis CT Scan procedures, is required. Equivalent experience determined by the CT Coordinator and the Department Manager. Quality conscious; interpersonal skills; flexible in achieving multiple tasks; dependable; organized; independent judgment, high technical skills.
Laboratory Assistant	40 Hours	Days	E/O Saturday	3-6 Per Year
POSITION SUMMARY: Identifies patient and specimens correctly prior to collection or testing. Verifies physician orders to determine accuracy of all tests being ordered. Reviews all testing requirements prior to specimen collection of processing for ultimate testing. Prioritizes specimens based on the status of stat, urgent or routine to ensure timely and efficient workflow. Assists in maintenance of supplies and inventory. Processes specimens to be forwarded to reference laboratories. Performs waived Laboratory testing as outlined by federal and state law. Assists technical staff in performance of routine daily tasks (documentation of temperatures, planting Microbiologic cultures to appropriate growth media, discard specimens, assist in autologous donations, aliquot specimens for later testing, preparation of blood smears, perform basic staining procedures). Performs processes related to outreach volume (specimen pick up, registration, procedure order entry, dispersal to departments). Orient and train new employees and students as necessary. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Associate of Science in Biology, or completion of core courses in this area of study. Previous phlebotomy experience strongly suggested. Six months to one year experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY: Assistant Office manager for busy physician’s office. Responsible for direct supervision of clinical office staff, including training, orientation and scheduling of the clinical staff. Shared responsibility with Practice Manager for the management of the business functions of the practice. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 1 to 2 years medical office experience. Medical Assistant or equivalent required. Computer literacy and excellent customer service skills required. Previous Office Manager Experience and experience with electronic medical record preferred.
