Internship Opportunities

The Heywood Healthcare Internship Program (HHIP) provides the opportunity to gain valuable experience to students whose career interests are in healthcare.

Internship opportunities in Cardiology, Physical Therapy, Nutrition, Women’s Health, Human Resources and more are all designed to encourage students to consider careers in science, medicine and public health.

Internships are part-time with schedule flexibility.

Eligibility
Students must have completed one year of college (i.e., freshman) and be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident or Resident or international student currently studying in the U.S.to apply to the Heywood Healthcare Internship Program (HHIP).

High School internship opportunities are often available in support of our local community. Students must be a currently enrolled high school student through a school program and working papers may be required to participate.

For most internship opportunities your school is required to have an agreement in place with Heywood Healthcare, so we encourage you work closely with your program coordinator.
