The Heywood Hospital Aid Association has been dedicated to helping the Greater Gardner Community and Heywood Hospital since 1927. The association is a non-profit organization, comprised of volunteers serving its mission of raising funds to support capital purchases of equipment to Heywood Hospital.
The organization raises funds through various efforts including weekly vendor sales at Heywood Hospital, operating a Gift Shop and hosting special events such as the annual Evergreen Fair.
The Aid has contributed nearly $200,000 to the Next Century Campaign.
In 2010, the Aid opened their new gift shop. The gift shop is located on the upper lobby level in the Watkins Center at Heywood.

Monday through Friday: 10 A.M. to 4 P.M., 6 P.M. to 8P.M.
Saturday: 1 P.M. to 4 P.M.
Sunday: 1 PM. to 4 P.M., 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
