The Heywood Hospital Aid Association has been dedicated to helping the Greater Gardner Community and Heywood Hospital since 1927. The association is a non-profit organization, comprised of volunteers serving its mission of raising funds to support capital purchases of equipment to Heywood Hospital.
The organization raises funds through various efforts including weekly vendor sales at Heywood Hospital, operating a Gift Shop and hosting special events such as the annual Evergreen Fair.
As of March 2010, the Aid has given a total of $95,000 of their $150,000 pledge to the Hospital's Next Century Campaign.
In late November 2010, the Aid opened their newly constructed gift shop. The gift shop is located on the upper lobby level in the Watkins Center at Heywood.

Monday through Friday: 10 A.M. to 4 P.M., 6 P.M. to 8P.M.
Saturday: 1 P.M. to 4 P.M.
Sunday: 1 PM. to 4 P.M., 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
