A proven healthcare human resources professional, Thomas A. Cady serves as Vice President Human Resources at Heywood Hospital.


With a background that includes some of the most prestigious healthcare institutions in New England, Mr. Cady brings a breadth of experience in human resources leadership to the administrative team at Heywood.


Prior to coming to Heywood, Mr. Cady was Vice President Human Resources at Marlboro Hospital. He also held that role at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston and Fallon Healthcare System in Worcester, where he was responsible for the human resource needs of complex workplace environments featuring 5,000 employees. In addition, he held positions as Corporate Director of Compensation at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield and Director of Human Resources at St. Vincent Healthcare System in Worcester.


In his role as Vice President Human Resources at Heywood Hospital, Mr. Cady is responsible for employee recruitment and retention, compensation, benefits, training and labor relations at the organization.


He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Suffolk University in Boston and a Master of Business Administration degree from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts. In addition, he is a Certified Facilitator for Development Dimensions International Learning Systems.


Mr. Cady is a board member of the Human Resources Advisory Council at Assumption College in Worcester, where he serves as an Associate Professor in the Human Resources Certificate Management Program.
