Heywood Healthy Harvest 5KRun/Walk for Mental HealthOctober 28, 2023 Our Heywood Healthy Harvest 5K Run/Walk for Mental Health is Saturday, October 28, 2023. The online registration is now open, click HERE to register today! We will again offer a Hybrid Format of on-site and in-person or virtual participation options. Participants may choose to run or walk either in person or on their own as a virtual participant. Proceeds from this year’s event will be directed towards expanding our mental health programming and the re-opening of our inpatient Mental Health Unit at Heywood Hospital. Professional timing system for our race provided by Tri-State Racing Services. All participants are encouraged to adhere to COVID-19 wellness guidelines. Registration Options Competitive and timed (In-person run) Timed and Not Timed *PLEASE NOTE: Registration is either GENERAL/NOT TIMED (Virtual or In-Person) ONLINE REGISTRATION will close on Monday, October 23rd at 3:00pm (guarantees participant gift for in-person) Event Timeline Registration: 7:45am Kick-off Ceremony: 9:00am Feet Hit Pavement immediately following the ceremony! Timed runner awards/recognition: 10:00am Health Fair (open to the community): 8:00am-11:00am Registration Fees: Adults - $25.00 Youth registration Ages 7-18 years - $15.00 Children 6 and under are free! (Details will appear within the link as you complete the registration) Awards The top male and female winning race participants will be recognized. Most Spirited Team Largest Team To start or to join a team please remember to follow the prompt at the bottom of your registration page. All in-person runners and walkers will receive a 2023 Healthy Harvest 5K gift upon registration check-in. Everyone is encouraged to wear past HH5K shirts to show your past support! Virtual participants are encouraged to submit participation photos by emailing them to [email protected], Subject: HH5K. Those who submit a photo wearing any previous HH5k shirt will be entered to win a prize! Photos may be used on our Facebook page or the Heywood website (by submitting photos you agree to this potential use). ROUTE Our established 3.1 mile course is the official 2023 route, beginning and ending at Heywood Hospital. Virtual participants can select any route they wish.
